LEVEL 1

Japanese Bodywork Introduction 1 & 2

Prerequisite: None

​

During this 2 intensive courses of 4 days each, students learn the basic competencies and techniques to give a whole body treatment by working on the 12 classical acupuncture meridians.

​

Program:

• Basic whole body treatment

• Theory of the Five Transformations in Oriental Medicine and their practical application

• Treatment and study of the 12 classical acupuncture meridians

• Five Transformations treatment of the Hara

• Qi Gong and Meditation

​

Total of ​​8 intensive course days or 50 hours

The students who complete level 1 will be invited to 

- Submit 10 case write-ups following a required format

- Complete a homework assignment of 50 hours

- Successfully complete an online exam that covers the material seen during level 1

LEVEL 2

​

Shinzui Japanese Bodywok 1 & 2

Prerequisite: Level 1 or bodywork experience

​

During this 2 intensive courses of 4 days each, students deepen their competencies and techniques and learn diagnostic tools to be able to treat more specifiek conditions.

 

Program

• Hara and whole body diagnosis

• Treatment of the Hara

• Deepening the understanding of the theory and practice of the Five Transformations

• Qi Gong and Meditation

 

Total of ​​8 days or 50 hours

The students who complete level 2 will be invited to 

- Submit 20 case write-ups following a required format

- Complete a homework assignment of 50 hours

- Successfully complete an online exam that covers the material seen during level 1

 

LEVEL 3

Advanced Shinzui Bodywork 1 & 2

Prerequisite: Level 2 or bodywork experience

​

During this 2 intensive courses of 4 days each, students will be able to deepen their competencies, techniques and diagnostic understanding. We learn the 12 Zen Shiatsu meridians and their connection to the Myofascial Meridians.

 

Program

• The 12 Zen Shiatsu meridians and Myofascial Meridians

• Deepening of the knowledge about the diagnostic tools

• Qi Gong and Meditation

 

Total of ​​8 days or 50 hours

The students who complete level 3 will be invited to 

- Submit 30 case write-ups following a required format

- Complete a homework assignment of 50 hours

FINAL EXAM & CERTIFICATION

​

Shinzui Practitioner certification

​

Students who have taken the 3 levels of the Shinzui Bodywork training program will be invited to take a practical, oral and written exam.
